Flashdance

Went to a packed Regent last Thursday to see Flashdance. Whether you think this was a good show or not seems to be divided on gender lines; myself and all the male friends I know who've seen it found it boring (even allowing for the very attractive female cast with not a lot on), but the girls seem to have loved it.
Granted, the set was excellent and the cast couldn't be faulted, but the songs were instantly forgettable and the story slow and uninteresting. What do you think?
