Beauty and the Beast

First time I've seen Beauty and the Beast and found this production very disappointing; competent but nothing more. The set and projections were excellent, but the performances were very pantomimy and completely hammed up while the set piece numbers were certainly not beyond the talents of a good local amateur company. Better than sitting in front of the telly but not greatly recommended.
