This is the forum in which to sign our guestbook and introduce yourself.

Im Tom. I created Staffordshireamdram.co.uk to raise awareness for local theatre and to build bridges between all groups, socirtys and performers.
I launched this forum 2 days ago and am constantly adding content.
Over time i hope this forum serves as a valuable tool for all of us involed in local amdram.

Hi guys! I'm Jon Bott, and for those of you who don't know me, I've been in various productions with various local societies (I liked flogging you nasty weapons in 'Oklahoma!', Tom! ) Having been sidetracked a little with Ellie & my daughter, Maddie, I haven't been in too much very recently, but we have just set up (January this year) Fusion Performance Arts, singing, dancing and drama for kids aged 5 to 18. In addition we are doing a Summer School, Fusion Youth Summer School 2008 for 3 weeks in the summer, culminating in a production of 'Seussical the Musical' on 9th August 2008. It's the first time 'Seussical' has been done in Stoke, and features direction by Rob Marsden, choreography by Ellie Bott, Musical Direction by Chris Brammeld and design by Rachel Jones. I'm Ian Brereton, been involved in the amateur scene locally for some years now. I'm currently doing Heaven Sent for S&J productions at the Rep whilst trying to learn my lines for the Trentham Shakespeare Taming of the Shrew.
Tom, the site is a great idea and I'm sure it will get to be very popular as soon as word gets round about it.

Welcome to the site, although it doesn't seem to have taken off and doesn't get too many vistors (particularly from Hawaii). Are you involved in theatre?
